|
This course will introduce Open Science (OS) practices and how it can strengthen one’s research trajectory. The course will demonstrate how the incorporation of OS practices is supplemental to one’s research activities, rather than additional work.
Over the course of three weeks, you will explore OS principles and discuss the benefits of making scientific research more transparent, inclusive, and collaborative. Throughout the course, you will learn best-practices to implement OS practices, such as submitting a pre-registration on OSF, and map how OS practices can be implemented into one’s research trajectory.
The three sessions can be broken down as follows.
Learning goals:
By the end of the course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to contribute to the research community and advocate for openness in your respective fields.
Course dates:
The course consists of three 2-hour sessions, which will take place on November 15, 22, 29 (13:00 to 15:00).
